Indigenomics is modern Indigenous economic design- imagining the possibilities of the emerging 100 billion dollar Indigenous economy.

Carol Anne Hilton is founder of the Indigenomics Institute and an advisor to business, governments, and First Nations. She is a Hesquiaht woman of Nuu chah nulth descent from the west coast of Vancouver Island. She holds an MBA and comes from 10,000 years of the potlatch tradition. She lives in Victoria, BC.

Host Sheila North, from the Bunibonibee Cree Natio is a former Grand Chief of the Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak (MKO), and currently the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Legacy Bowes. Sheila is a former CBC and CTV journalist and was nominated for a Gemini Award as a CBC journalist. As a film maker, Sheila released a documentary, 1200+, about missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls (MMIWG) featured on CTV in 2019. And, a Cree host of Taken, a series about MMIW, for APTN and CBC. She created the hashtag #MMIW in 2012 to highlight conversations about the epidemic. Sheila is a proud mother of two and Kookom of one.
